A moment to smell the roses...so to speak

My favorite quote from the weekend came from Kaiden, who plucked a lily from the water, raised it to his nose, inhaled deeply, and exclaimed “Mom, this lily smells like everything good in the world!” I realized that in all the years we have had all those lilies right next to our dock I had never actually smelled one. And Kaiden was right - they smell pretty good.
